Operator
Smalltalk.Ninja is run privately. There is no company behind it: it is a personal project, and the people who run an anonymous chat site have the same reason as everyone else here not to publish a home address. Everything below reaches them.

That address needs no account and is the point of contact for users and for authorities alike. The operator behind it is the data controller for everything described in the privacy notice, and a court or a competent authority that needs their identity will be given it on a properly founded request.
Reporting illegal content
The quickest route is inside the app: Report on a conversation, Report picture on an image, or Report as spam. Those reach an admin directly and tell us exactly what you saw.
You do not need an account to report something. Anyone — including people who have never used this site — can send a notice to abuse@smalltalk.ninja. Say what the content is, where you saw it (the nickname, and roughly when), and why you believe it is unlawful, and give us a way to reply. We will confirm we received it and tell you what we decided.
Describe it — don't send it. Please do not attach or forward pictures, screenshots, video, or files, and do not quote unlawful material in full. A nickname and a rough time is enough for us to find it ourselves, and an attachment only puts a second copy of the thing somewhere new. We do not open attachments sent to that address. If it involves a child, it goes to the police and not to us — they are the ones who may lawfully handle it.
We have very little to identify anyone by. We can act on the account — withhold a picture, uphold a report, disable it outright — but we cannot tell you, or anyone else, who a person is. There are no names, no email addresses, and no phone numbers on file, no IP address is ever stored, and everything a profile says about itself is self-declared and unverified. A nickname is the only handle we have, which is why a notice needs one.
Tell us as soon as you can. Conversations here are deleted after 60 days and we cannot recover what has already gone — a notice about something older than that may reach us with nothing left to look at.
If someone appears to be in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first — for the reason above, we cannot find anyone or send help on your behalf. The privacy notice sets out what we hold and what we do not.
Complaints about your data
Write to the contact address above. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority — ours is Datatilsynet, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark (datatilsynet.dk), and you may equally complain to the authority where you live or work.
